The most patriotic town in the west. Pop. 450 normally, on the 4th of July 4,000 and every one a patriot!
I started the morning at a meadow at the base of the Big Horn Mtns. I shared the 1,000 acre site with only one other motor home. I was on the way to Glacier NP and started to drive thru this sleepy little town about 9:00 a,m. and saw it was starting to bustle. So, I turned around at parked for a while to catch the parade and some of the local color. The girls in the Crazy Woman Restaurant were very popular and well known. One of them was a judge for the parade. Some of the family floats are shown, and this is really a sheep area, not cows. The cute young couple drove in from 60 miles out of town, and he honestly loved the dogs more than the cutie he was with.
